CHRIS LEVINE
ARTIST
Biography
Perhaps one of Art Lounge Internationals most reputed artists, Chris Levine is a sensational light artist who works across many individual cutting edge mediums in pursuit of an expanded state of perception and awareness through digital form and image culture.
Chris Levine’s work considers spectral light ,but not just as a central core aspect of digital and photographic art, but more so of human experience more widely and a spiritual, meditative and philosophical edge dissolves into his work.
Chris Levine is perhaps most famously known for producing and developing what is already being described as the most iconic images of the twenty-first century, the "Lightness of Being." With the inclusion of light and stillness at its core, the spectacular image of the portrait her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II presents an unique fresh depiction of the world's most famous woman in the civilised world.
The National Portrait Gallery recently stated it was "indeed"the most evocative image of a royal by any artist of all time.

Levine’s practice is differentiated by the cross referencing across many creative visual fields including music, performance, installation, fashion and design in a multitude of projects. Art Lounge International is proud to be able to source the works by Chris and his works are available to view on an appointment basis only.
