Ever since I first picked up a paint brush with my mother as a little girl, the compulsion to paint has dominated my life. I know that the extraordinary colours, light and contrasts of Zimbabwe where I grew up and had to leave in 2002, are to blame. Art became and has ever been my friend, supporting my children and me throughout. Starting with exhibitions of animals and flowers at the age of sixteen I have expanded my repertoire to include landscapes and country scenes, harbours, twilight and moon light scenes and even space and galaxy paintings. Ever conscious of those who like and buy my work, and delivering true value to them, I have not succumbed to the temptations of limited editions or mass market prints. Biography

A long standing artist here at Art Lounge international gallery, Rozanne Bell Nee Marshall was born in Zimbabwe in 1962 where she lived for 40 years. She exhibited her work all over Southern Africa and, through tourism, an American market for her work evolved.

Art became and has ever been my friend, supporting my children and me throughout."

As the style of Roz Bell has evolved she has developed a strong international following. Art Lounge international has built a huge following in the Leamington and Warwickshire area, we just love the work! Her speciality is using layered textured reliefs creating whimsical naïve paintings of Harbours, fishing towns, quirky animal art along with beautiful floral work and landscapes. In 2002, the political climate in Zimbabwe necessitated Rozanne Bell's move to England. The ability to adapt to a new environment coupled with her determination to succeed has created strong demand for her work here in the UK. Rozanne has developed in her work a style and a technique which make each and every painting totally unique. Having had no formal art schooling, Roz Bell cultivated her natural flair and talent that is so evident in her work.
